Self-locking insert rivet nut is a fastener that combines riveting technology with self-locking function. It consists of a metal shell (carbon steel/stainless steel) and a built-in nylon ring or deformed thread. Its typical structure includes embossed teeth, guide grooves and self-locking components (such as nylon inserts or metal thread deformation areas). After the teeth are pressed into the pre-set holes of the thin plate (the hole diameter is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the nut) by the riveting machine, the plate material is plastically deformed and embedded in the guide groove to achieve mechanical locking. At the same time, the nylon insert or deformed thread provides secondary anti-loosening protection. This design is optimized for thin plate connections such as sheet metal and chassis, and has both efficient installation and vibration resistance.
