The tightening sequence should commence at the center, proceeding to the outer sides (in the case of a four-hole fish plate), using a specified wrench length, such as a 55 cm screw wrench. It is essential to avoid simultaneous tightening by multiple individuals to prevent over-tightening. Install bolt caps in a crosswise pattern internally and externally to mitigate complete severance during possible derailments.
