Follow a strategic tightening sequence by focusing on the middle first, followed by the sides (for four-hole fish plates), utilizing a wrench of specified length (such as a 55 cm screw wrench). To avoid over-tightening, refrain from simultaneous tightening by multiple individuals. Position bolt caps in a crosswise manner on both the inside and outside of the line to prevent complete detachment during potential derailment scenarios.
