Basic definition of butterfly nut
Butterfly nut (Butterfly Nut/Wing Nut) is a special nut with a shape similar to butterfly wings, and its two sides extend symmetrically with wing-shaped structures that are easy to operate manually. This design allows it to be quickly loaded and unloaded without tools. It is a typical representative of hand-tightened nuts and is widely used in occasions that require frequent adjustment.

Core structure and working principle
The butterfly nut consists of a nut body with internal threads and two wing pieces on both sides. According to the shape of the wing pieces, it is divided into round wing type (GB/T62.1-2004) and square wing type (GB/T62.2-2004). Its working principle is to apply a rotational torque by pinching the two wing pieces on both sides with fingers, and tightening is achieved by thread engagement. Butterfly nuts manufactured by die-casting technology must comply with GB/T62.4-2004 standards, and some products are also designed with a limit structure to prevent accidental touch.
