It is usually used in conjunction with round nuts to enhance the reliability of the connection through mechanical locking.

1. Structure and characteristics of round nut stop washers
External tooth/internal tooth design: The outer or inner edge of the washer has multiple raised teeth that can form a mechanical interlock with the nut and the base.
Single-ear/double-ear stopper: Some models have a bendable stopper ear that is used to embed into the notch of the round nut or fix it to the base.
