Our self-locking insert rivet nut masterfully blends riveting expertise with a self-locking mechanism, offering a robust fastening solution. Composed of a durable metal shell—either carbon steel or stainless steel—and fortified with a built-in nylon ring or deformed thread, it features an ingenious structural design. This includes embossed teeth, precision guide grooves, and reliable self-locking elements like nylon inserts or metal thread deformation areas. The teeth, when pressed into the pre-set holes of a thin plate (holes slightly smaller than the nut's outer diameter) using a riveting machine, cause the plate material to plastically deform, embedding securely into the guide groove for mechanical locking. Additionally, the nylon insert or deformed thread offers an extra layer of anti-loosening assurance. This thoughtfully engineered design is ideal for thin plate connections such as sheet metal and chassis, delivering both efficient installation and superior vibration resistance.
